What it is:

The NWSNO, in partnership with El Campito, has started work on a community garden on Thomas Street named “Mrs. Nino’s Garden” after the founder of El Campito. The idea is to grow vegetables, build community, provide greater food security, and give neighbors a chance to interact in a social-distance friendly way. All are welcome.

Who can participate:

All are welcome. We ask that you bring a mask (only need to wear when social distancing is not possible) and any tools you might need for gardening. Suggested items are: wide-brimmed hat, garden gloves, trowel, hoe, etc.

Hours:

Specific work days are Saturdays from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and Tuesdays 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
