On October 19, 2020, the Neighborhood Resources Connection (“NRC”) will kick-off its second annual Neighborhoods United South Bend (“NUSB”) Summit – Growing Healthy Neighborhoods {Action For Positive Change}.The Summit designed by neighbors, for neighbors, will take place via multiple Zoom sessions spread over five days starting Monday, October 19, and culminating with a keynote speaker on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

The summit series is “free” of charge and open to all South Bend residents.

The Growing Healthy Neighborhoods Summit will include a wide range of sessions focused on critical issues facing our neighbors amid the Coronavirus pandemic, including underlining healthcare concerns, safety in our neighborhoods, education, vulnerable populations, employment, and housing challenges. Together, neighbors and community leaders will be encouraged to voice their concerns and craft solutions for change that will support vibrant, resilient, inclusive neighborhoods. We anticipate that our Breakout Sessions will be very motivating.
